Nine voting members and one lifetime member were present. Club Treasurer, Bob Webb read the financial report for December. There was a complete accounting of all of the club's financial assets in the amount of $750.86 in cash. Dave motioned to accept the report, Gary seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes of the previous meeting, held on December 18, 2014, were read by the club secretary, David Holmes. Rick Hitchen motioned to accept the minutes, Bob McFadden seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The floor was then opened to old business. Gary Paul filled us in on his trip to the repeater site. He affixed a copy of the club's FCC License to the cabinet and he observed that the battery in the UPS was not holding a charge and that the mounts for the bus company's antenna, which is very near to ours, had pulled free from the building and the antenna was lying on the roof, apparently still in use. Bob M. motioned to replace the UPS but the motion was not seconded as discussion on the topic concluded that we should hold off on replacing it for now. Rick said that we should reserve a Field Day site and brought up the possibility of holding field day at a different site than the observation tower at the north end of Brigantine. Adam DiBartola suggested Bader Field as a possible alternative and discussion was held on the pros and cons of alternative sites. Rick brought up the topic of the radio room at the Community Center and the possibility of holding open houses once the room is set up. Bob Abrams said that he has the TenTec rig and is awaiting better weather in order to erect an antenna to check the rig out further. At precisely 8:00 PM the drawing for the 2014-15 Winter Radio Giveaway Contest was held. Chuck Taylor offered the use of the property at his swim club in Galloway for the club to hold an outdoor event, either in the Spring or the Fall. At 8:20 PM, Dave motioned to close the meeting, Rick seconded and the meeting was adjourned. Immediately following the meeting a 50/50 drawing was held.
